Whispered Truth #3: You Are Relevant
In a recent mentoring session, I watched a woman quietly struggle with her horse.
He wouldn’t stand for the farrier, and even in the small interactions, I could see it—she was working hard, but something wasn’t clicking. Leadership was missing, not because she didn’t care, but because she wasn’t anchored in herself.
As I watched the way she moved, spoke, and held herself around her horse, I saw the deeper story.
She wasn’t just unsure about her horse.
She was unsure about herself—her importance, her place in the world, her value.
The horse felt it, and responded accordingly.
So, I spoke the truth I saw in her:
“You matter. You’re relevant. You are important.”
And something shifted.
Her posture changed.
Her energy settled.
Her leadership started to come from a place of knowing—not force, not fear, just truth.
And her horse responded.
Within the hour, they were dancing together in quiet partnership, and she became the leader her horse had been waiting for all along.
It’s not just about technique.
It’s about the whispered truths that shape how we show up in the world.
And one of the most powerful truths we can remember?
You are relevant.
