Whispered Truth #2: The Little Things Matter<\/p>\n
I don\u2019t just teach riding lessons.
We build something bigger here.
Some of my girls have been getting lessons for two years now. They work hard to earn their lessons\u2014cleaning barns, weeding gardens, doing whatever it takes because they can\u2019t afford horses of their own. But their commitment shows up in every stall they muck and every arena they rake.
And I see them.
I let them know they\u2019re loved\u2014really loved\u2014not just for how well they ride but for who they are.
Lately, they\u2019ve started saying it back.
They hold my hands as we walk from the barns to the arena. They laugh, they confide, they grow. And today, one of them chose chores for lessons over a party on her birthday.
So, I surprised her.
I baked her a cake from scratch and gathered everyone around. We sang.
She turned red, shyly hiding her face in her hands\u2014but I could feel her heart soaking it in.
It\u2019s these little moments that stick.
The whispered truths beneath it all:
